Conditii de participare:
Sunt necesare: o stare buna de sanatate, un nivel minim de antrenament, un bagaj de cunostinte
tehnice proprii turelor de MTB si varsta minima de 18 ani. Cei care nu au implinit 18 ani trebuie
sa aiba acceptul scris si semnat al parintilor sau al tutorelui legal, pe formularul de inscriere si pe
declaratia de responsabilitate. Participantii isi asuma intreaga responsabilitate pentru starea de
sanatate in care se afla. Orice participant inscris va avea un numar de concurs si o acreditare.
Orice participant trebuie sa respecte regulile competitiei si trebuie sa urmeze indicatiile date de
organizatori. Inscrierea se poate face prin website-ul www.zemesxco.ro folosind formularul de
inscriere si declaratia de responsabilitate, care trebuie completate si semnate de fiecare participant
in ziua preluarii numarului de concurs. La preluarea numarului de concurs fiecare participant
trebuie sa prezinte obligatoriu un act de identitate. Inscrierea prin fax, telefon sau e-mail nu este
posibila.
Formularele fara semnatura nu vor fi acceptate.

Anulari:
Daca evenimentul este anulat din motive de forta majora, participantii nu vor beneficia de
rambursarea taxei de inscriere si nici de compensatii pentru alte pierderi, cum ar fi cheltuieli
ocazionate de calatorie si cazare.

Responsabilitate:
Fiecare participant care ia parte la Bike FM Zemes XCO este responsabil pentru propria
securitate si siguranta.
Organizatorii, partenerii, sponsorii, voluntarii si personalul care participa la realizarea
evenimentului nu sunt responsabili pentru orice fel de ranire sau pagube, anulare, intarzieri sau
schimbari ale traseelor care pot surveni in timpul desfasurari evenimentului din motive
intemeiate.
Fiecare participant trebuie sa semneze, inainte de inscriere, o declaratie de responsabilitate, prin
care isi asuma riscurile ce rezulta din participarea la un astfel de eveniment si orice pagube
survenite din orice motiv, inclusiv pierdere sau furt.

Regulament:
1. Caracteristici ale competitiei Race characteristics
Evenimentul este o competitie outdoor. Traseul este partial neamenajate si neprotejate, se
folosesc drumuri publice, poteci marcate si nemarcate, pante cu inclinare mare si zone
accidentate etc.
Diferite segmente ale traseelor trec prin  zone impadurite si taieturi. Toate acestea necesita
experienta si cunostinte speciale, cum ar fi:

 orice participant sa aiba cel putin o experienta generala despre munte;
 orice participant sa aiba cunostinte tehnice despre abordarea unui traseu dificil;
 orice participant sa fie capabil sa urce si sa coboare in siguranta o panta inclinata in
conditii dificile;
 orice participant sa aiba abilitatea sa parcurga in siguranta un traseu intr-o zona alpina;
 orice participant ar trebui sa fie indeajuns de experimentat incat sa parcurga un traseu
alpin dificil;
 orice participant ar trebui sa aiba un bun simt al directiei pe teren montan, chiar si in
conditii de vreme rea si vizibilitate redusa. Aceasta inseamna ca fiecare participant sa fie
capabil sa foloseasca o harta si informatiile despre trasee pentru a ajunge in siguranta;
 orice participant ar trebui sa cunoasca regulile de comportament in caz de pericol si
urgenta in zona montana;
 orice participant ar trebui sa dea dovada de fair play si prietenie si sa actioneze in
consecinta atunci cand situatia o cere;
 orice participant ar trebui sa stie si sa aiba o atitudine care sa tina cont de faptul ca oricat
de multe masuri de siguranta ar lua organizatorii, nu sunt si nu vor putea fi acoperite toate
riscurile rezultate din natura competitilor, mediul si conditiile in care se desfasoara
acestea;
 orice participant trebuie sa stie ca nici un premiu nu este mai presus de sanatatea si viata
lui si/sau a altor participanti si sa actioneze in consecinta pentru a se proteja atunci cand
simte sau observa un pericol.

2. Tipul de cursa
2.1. XCO – Cross-country Olympic XCO – Cross-country Olympic
 Competitie desfasurata pe un traseu sub forma de circuit care se parcurge de mai multe
ori.
 Numarul de tururi va fi stabilit in asa fel incat durata cursei pentru castigator sa se
incadreze intre 1h30min si 1h45min respectiv 1h si 1h15min pentru categoriile sub 18 ani.
 Un tur de circuit va avea intre 4 si 7 km, putand exista diferente intre traseul pentru Elite
si cel pentru Amatori.
 Pe traseu vor exista minim 2 zone de alimentare si asisteta tehnica.
 Startul se va da in grup.

2.2. Specificatii traseu Track specifiations
 Traseul are o lungime de 4,2 kilometri cu 160 de metri diferenta de nivel.
 The track has a length of 4.2 kilometers with 160m elevation gain.
3. Echipamente Equipments
 Sunt admise doar biciclete tip “mountain bike” cu roti de 26”, 27.5” (650B) sau 29”.
 Casca de protectie este obligatorie.
 Numarul de concurs (furnizat de organizatori) trebuie purtat pe ghidon pe toata durata
competitiei.
 Cip de cronometraj (furnizat de organizatori) trebuie montat pe bicicleta in cazul in care
nu este lipit pe numarul de concurs.

4. Numere de concurs Race numbers

Numerele de concurs vor fi primite in momentul validarii inscrierii, dupa ce participantul a
completat si a semnat formularul de inscriere, declaratia de responsabilitate si a platit
contravaloarea taxei de inscriere.
Numerele de concurs trebuie prinse pe ghidonul bicicletei si, trebuie sa fie vizibile pe toata
perioada cursei. Logo-urile plasate pe numere trebuie sa fie vizibile. Numerele nu trebuie sa fie
taiate sau modificate sub nici o forma in timpul concursului. Nerespectarea acestor lucruri va
atrage dupa sine descalificarea.

5. Validare
Validarea inscrierilor se va face la Race office-ul fiecarei competitii conform programului afisat
pe site. Pentru ridicarea numarului de concurs si al pachetului de start fiecare concurent va trebui
sa prezinte un act de identitate.
Startul va fi deschis timp de 15 minute dupa ora oficiala de start, cei care au pierdut startul si vor
pleca in cursa in aceste 15 minute vor fi cronometrati in acord cu ora oficiala de start.
Participantii care vor lua startul dupa acest timp nu vor fi clasati.
Inaintea fiecarei competitii va fi organizata o sedinta tehnica a carei data si ora vor fi publicate pe
website-ul Bike FM Zemes XCO. Participarea concurentilor la sedinta tehnica nu este obligatorie
dar este foarte importanta. In cadrul sedintei tehnice vor fi abordate subiecte ca: descrierea
amanuntita a traseului, explicarea procedurilor de start/sosire, amplasarea punctelor de
alimentare, evidentierea zonelor periculoase de pe traseu etc.

6. Puncte de control Check points
Pe trasee sunt amplasate puncte de control obligatorii. Participantii care nu trec printr-un punct de
control (indiferent de motiv) vor fi descalificati. Numerele de concurs si timpii competitorilor vor
fi notati in ordinea sosirii in fiecare punct de control.

(for any reason) will be disqualified, Race numbers and individual times will be notified by the
passage order in each check point
7. Oprirea / Retragerea din cursa:
Organizatorul isi rezerva dreptul de a opri un participant in urmatoarele cazuri:
The organizer has the right to stop a participant if:
 s-a accidentat dupa start, iar starea sa nu-i mai permite continuarea cursei;
 nu s-a incadrat in timpii limita anuntati in prealabil;
 in cazuri exceptionale.
Orice participant care nu mai poate sau nu mai vrea sa continue cursa, indiferent de motiv trebuie
sa informeze pe organizatori imediat, la start, la punctele de control sau la sosire.  Retragerea va
fi confirmata prin semnatura pe foaia de arbitraj. Orice participant care se retrage va fi ajutat cu
privire la cea mai buna varianta de retragere dar este responsabil pentru transportul propriu, ruta
pe care o va folosi si actiunile ulterioare momentului si locului retragerii, exceptie facand cazurile
grave care nu permit deplasarea prin propriile mijloace.

8. Cronometraj Timing
Cronometrajul se face cu ajutorul unui sistem pe baza de cip RFID. Cip-ul de cronometraj este
lipit pe spatele numarului de concurs. Asigurati-va, astfel ca aveti numarul pe bicicleta de la
startul cursei pana la finalul ei. In cazul in care numarul se desprinde de pe ghidonul bicicletei
pastrati-l pana la finalul cursei. Acest tip de cip nu trebuie returnat dupa sosire.

Incadrarea in categoria de varsta se face scazand din anul curent anul nasterii. Rezultatul trebuie
sa se incadreze in intervalul categoriei, inclusiv extremele.
Exemple:
Concurent nascut in anul 1989
2019 – 1989 = 30 => categoria de varsta 30-39
Concurent nascut in anul 1990
2019 – 1990 = 29 => categoria de varsta 19-29
Toti concurentii inscrisi la categoriile Elite, Cadeti si Juniori vor prezenta obligatoriu la
inscriere licenta FRC.
Pentru ca o categorie de concurs sa fie validata trebuie sa existe cel putin 3 concurenti la

start. Organizatorul va decide cum vor fi comasate categoriile care nu indeplinesc aceasta
conditie.

9.1.2 Reguli inscriere copii Rules for children subscription
 Pot participa doar copii careau peste 10 ani impliniti.
 Formularul de inscriere va fi completat si semnat de unul din parinti sau tutore legal. In
cazul in care unul din parinti sau tutorele legal nu sunt prezenti se va prezenta o declaratie
notariala in care acestia isi exprima acordul. Este obligatorie atasarea unei copii a
certificatului de nastere al copilului.
 Nu este permisa participarea in concurs cu biciclete fara pedale (“running bike”)
 Casca de protectie este obligatorie.
 Persoanele care insotesc copiii nu au voie sa intre in interiorul traseului de concurs. Ii pot
sustine pe copii doar de pe margine, din afara traseului marcat.

10.TAXE INSCRIERE:

10.1  Clasamente/Premii
Se vor intocmi clasamente generale pentru Elite, Juniori, Amatori Masculin si Feminin, indiferent
de distanta de concurs si varsta.

11. Alimentare / Asistenta tehnica Refilling/technical assistance
11.1. Alimentarea si asistenta tehnica sunt permise doar in zonele special amenajate si
semnalizate prin indicatoare corespunzatoare respectiv

11.2. Zonele de alimentare / asistenta tehnica vor fi amplasate acolo unde traseul permite oprirea
in bune conditii, respectiv pe sectiuni plate sau in urcare. De asemenea vor fi amplasate pe
sectiuni suficient de late pentru a permite trecerea concurentilor care nu au nevoie sa se opreasca.
11.3. Zonele de alimentare / asistenta tehnica nu vor fi folosite decat in scopul stabilit prin
denumire. Orice alte activitati (odihna, socializare, etc.) vor fi efectuate in alte zone in care
traseul permite stationarea fara a influenta desfasurarea cursei.
11.4. Concurentii au obligatia de a stationa cat mai putin posibil in zonele de alimentare /
asistenta tehnica pentru a evita aglomerarea acestora.

11.5. Este interzisa circulatia in sens invers pe traseu pentru a reveni la zonele de alimentare /
asistenta tehnica.
11.6. Asistenta tehnica pe traseu este considerata repararea sau inlocuirea oricarei componente a
bicicletei cu exceptia cadrului. Schimbarea bicicletelor nu este permisa si concurentii trebuie sa
treaca linia de sosire cu acelasi numar pe ghidon cu care au plecat la start.
11.7. Asistenta tehnica poate fi acordata de catre persoane din exterior doar in zonele de
alimentare / asistenta tehnica.
11.8. Asistenta tehnica poate fi facuta in alte zone de pe traseu doar folosind echipamente pe care
concurentul le-a luat cu el la plecarea in cursa.
11.9. Orice resturi sau deseuri pe care concurenti au intentia sa le abandoneze vor fi lasate pe
marginea traseului, in locuri vizibile, la cel mult 100 m dupa zonele de alimentare / asistenta
tehnica.
Suporterii pot sustine orice competitor cu conditia sa respecte regulile de conduita, indicatiile
autoritatiilor si/sau ale oficialilor si sa nu impiedice desfasurarea competitiei.
12. Conservarea naturii
Lasarea de gunoaie pe parcursul traseelor si/sau distrugerea deliberata a mediului inconjurator va
atrage dupa sine descalificarea.
13. Alte reguli

Bike FM Zemes XCO foloseste ca trasee de concurs urmatoarele si nu numai: drumuri publice,
poteci turistice amenajate si neamenajate ce strabat localitati, pajisti, paduri, taieturi.
Exista zone in traseele de concurs care nu sunt inchise altor participanti la trafic (autovehicule,
vehicule, pietoni, turisti, animale si altii). Acest fapt atrage asupra participantilor obligatia de a
respecta regulile de conduita in trafic impuse de lege. Orice accident provocat si/sau in care au
fost implicati participanti la Bike FM Zemes XCO, survenit in timpul desfasurarii evenimentelor,
din nerespectarea regulilor de concurs si a regulilor de conduita in trafic impuse de lege, va fi in
responsabilitatea celor implicati in accident.
Competitia se desfasoara in zone montane intr-un spatiu partial neamenajat si neprotejat, de aceea
exista un risc de ranire si/sau deces datorat unor pericole obisnuite pentru competitiile outdoor.
Acestea includ si nu se rezuma doar la: coliziuni cu autovehicule, alte vehicule, pietre, stanci,
copaci, oameni, alte obiecte, caderi, alunecari, rani provocate de frig si/sau caldura, hipotermie,
insolatie, deshidratare, degeraturi, arsuri, rau de altitudine, caderi de pietre, furtuni, animale,
incendii, efort fizic.
Prin inscriere, plata si participare fiecare participant confirma ca a citit, inteles si acceptat
conditiile de participare si aceste reguli, isi asuma riscurile participarii la Bike FM Zemes XCO si
este responsabil pentru propriile actiuni care ar trebui sa tina cont de circumstante relevante ca:
trafic, conditii meteo, schimbarea vremii, zona in care se afla, echipament.

14. Penalizari
 lipsa unui obiect din echipamentul obligatoriu = descalificare;
 scurtarea traseului = penalizare sau descalificare (decizie arbitru);
 doping = descalificare;
 nerespectarea mediului inconjurator = descalificare;
 modificarea numarului de concurs = descalificare;
 nerespectarea regulilor competitiei = penalizare sau descalificare (decizia comisiei de
arbitrii);

 nerespectarea regulilor privind alimentarea si asistenta tehnica = penalizare sau
descalificare (decizia comisiei de arbitrii);
 comportament nesportiv fata de alti participanti, oficiali, public, alte persoane =
descalificare.
 circulatia in sens invers pe traseu = descalificare;

15. Contestatii
Orice participant poate face o contestatie impotriva altui participant care nu a respectat regulile
competitiei sau impotriva deciziilor oficialilor. Contestatia se va depune la Race office, in scris,
in maxim 15 minute de la afisarea rezultatelor complete provizorii. Rezolvarea contestatiei se va
face in urmatoarele 30 minute.

16. Modificari
Organizatorul isi rezerva dreptul de a modifica regulile si modul de desfasurare a competitiilor.

Entry to the race:
In order to participate to the race you need: a good health condition, a basic training, a good technical knowledge of MTB use and minimal age of 18th. Those who did not have the age of 18th need the written consents of one parent or legal tutor on the race registration form and on the responsibility form. Participants have entire responsibility for their health condition. All participants will have a race number and accreditation. All participants must respect the competition rules and comply with the organizer announcements. The registration to the race can be done on the website www.zemesxco.ro by filling the entry form and the responsibility declaration that must be filled and signed when the race number is picked up. Meantime each participant must show its ID card. Registration through fax, phone or e-mail is not allowed.
The entry forms that are not signed will be disregarded.

Registration fee: 100 RON

Cancelation:
If the event is canceled because of force majeure, the participant will not be reimbursed the entry fee and there will be no financial compensation due to other occasional financial loses like travel or accommodation.
Responsibility:
Each participant that takes place into the Bike FM Zemes XCO is responsible for its own security and safety.
The organizer, partners, sponsors, volunteers and stuff that participate to the event cannot be made responsible by any means for crush injuries, damages, cancelations, delays or any change made to the race track that are made during the event for good reasons.
Rules:
Race characteristics
The event is an outdoor competition. The track has parts that are not protected and use public roads, marked or unmarked trail paths, hilly slope and technical descents. Some segments of the track go through forest. All these facts require that any participant has good experience and knowledge like:
Any participant should have a good knowledge of mountaineering
Any participant should have good technical knowledge for a difficult track
Any participant should be able to climb and descent a slope in difficult conditions
Any participant should have the ability and knowledge to race in an alpine region
Any participant should have the ability to follow the race direction in mountain condition even in bad weather with poor visibility, to read and use a map and given information in order to end the race in good condition.
Any participant should know the behavior rules in case of danger and emergency situation in the mountain region.
Any participant should behave in the spirit of fair play and friendship and should take action when needed.
Any participant should be aware that that despite all safety precaution taken by the organizer he could be catch in an unexpected situation created by the nature of the race and its environment.
Any participant should know that no prize is above its health and life and/or health and life of other participants and should action in consequence to protect himself when he feel or see an imminent danger.

Type of the race
2.1. XCO – Cross-country Olympic
The race is going on a track that will be done more than once.
The laps will be established in such a way that the race duration for the winner to be in-between 1h30min – 1h45min and 1h – 1h15min for ELITE and U18 categories.
One lap will have between 4 and 7 km, some difference could be done between the ELITE and Amateurs tracks.
The track will have 2 area for refreshments and technical assistance
The start will be done at once for one specific category.
2.2. Track specifiations
The track has a length of 4.2 kilometers with 160m elevation gain.
Equipments
Only 26” ”, 27.5” (650B) or 29” MTB type bikes are allowed to the race.
The helmet is mandatory
The race number must be worn on the handlebar during the whole race
The electronic race chip (given by the organizer) must be mounted on the bike except the case when this will be glued to the race number.
If the racer is found without any of these items he/she will be disqualified.
Race numbers
Race numbers will be given during the validation of subscription, after the participant has filled and signed the subscription form, the responsibility form and payed the entry fee.
Race numbers must be attached on the handlebar and must be visible during the whole race. The logos printed on the race number must be visible as well. The race numbers cannot be cut or modified by any means during the race. Any misbehavior in this sense will bring disqualification.

Validation/Briefing/Start
Entry validation will be done at the Race Office for each race as shown in the event program on the web site. To pick up the race number and the start package each racer must show an ID card.
The start will be open 15 minutes after the official hour, the racers who missed the start and who decide to begin the race during this 15 minutes will have their times started in accordance to the official starting time.
The racers that will start after this time will not be part of the ranking.
Before each race one technical meeting will be organized. The date and time will be published on the website of Bike FM Zemes XCO. The presence of the racers to the technical meeting is not mandatory but is highly recommended. During the technical meeting there will be presentations related to: track description, start/finish procedures, the placement of the refreshment/technical areas, description of the dangerous areas on the track.

Check points
Check points will be placed on the track. The participants that will not pass by these check points (for any reason) will be disqualified, Race numbers and individual times will be notified by the passage order in each check point
Race stop/Race abandon
The organizer has the right to stop a participant if:
The participant is injured after the start and he/she’s health condition does not allow to follow the race.
The racers time is outside the time limits (as announced in advance)
In exceptional cases.
Any participant that cannot or does not want to continue the race, despite the reason should inform the organizer immediately at the start, check point or finish. The race retire will be confirmed in written of the official race sheet. Any participant that withdraw from the race will be advised for the safest way to return to the start and will be responsible for the transportation, the used path and any action that will take from that moment except in emergency cases when the racers cannot return safely.
Timing
The timing will be done using a RFID chip. The chip is glued to the race number. Any racer should check that the racer number is attached to the handlebar during the whole race. In case that the number falls from the bike the racer must keep it till the end of the race. This race chip should not be returned after the race.

The year category will be calculated by the subtraction between the current year and the birth year. The result should be in the category interval, including the edges.
Examples:
Participant born in 1989
2019-1989=30=> race category 30-39
Participant born in 1990
2019-1990=29=> race category 19-29
All participants with ELITE, Cadets, Juniors subscription will show their FRC license at the registration.
A category is valid if contains 3 participants.

9.1.2 Rules for children subscription
Children aged 10 and above are allowed to participate in the race
The entry form will be filled and signed by one of the parents or the legal tutor. In case that none of them is present an official notarial statement in which the parent or legal tutor agreed is mandatory. A birth certificate copy must be attached.
No running bikes (without pedals) are allowed.
A bike helmet is mandatory.
No accompanying person is allowed on the track during the race. Spectators can encourage the kids in areas outside the track.

Ranking/Prizes
General rankings will be done for Elite, Juniors, Amateurs Men and Women, despite the length of the race and age.
Refilling/technical assistance
11.1. Refilling and technical assistance are allowed to be done only in the designated areas marked with signs: FEED/TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ZONE START si FEED/TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ZONE END
11.2. The refilling/assistance areas will be placed on the track where racers can stop safely, on flat or hilly regions. These areas will be wide enough to allow competing racers to pass by.
11.3. The refilling/assistance areas will be used only for these purposes. Any other activities (rest, socializing) will be done in areas where other racers will not be affected by.
11.4. The racers will stay as short as possible in refilling/assistance areas to overcome congestions.
11.5. It is forbidden to return to the refilling/assistance areas
11.6. By technical assistance we mean the repair/replacement of any bike component with the exception of the frame. Bike change is not allowed, the racers must end the race with the same number on the handlebar as the one at the start.
11.7. People not in the race can give technical assistance only in the refilling/assistance areas.
11.8. In other places the racer can use only the tools taken at the beginning of the race.
11.9. Any waste can be left/abandoned on the track side in visible places at a distance of maximum 100m from the refilling/assistance areas
Any supporter can encourage any competitor by respecting the rules, authority/officials indications and should not interfere with the race.
Nature conservation
Any participant that will drop garbage and/or deteriorate the environment deliberately will be disqualified.
Other rules
Bike FM Zemes XCO uses as race tracks the followings: public roads, touristic trails, wild paths that go through villages, forest, meadow,…
On the track there will areas that are not closed to traffic (auto, pedestrians, animals, etc..). The participants must obey to any traffic rules imposed by low in these regions. Any accident provoked by a participant to Bike FM Zemes XCO that took place during the race provoked by rules disrespect or ignoring the traffic rules imposed by the law will cause the participant responsibility.
The competition takes place in mountain region, in some areas that are partially not protected or in wild regions which means that the race imply a risk of injury or/and death due to the nature of the outdoor competition. These risks include : vehicle collision (motorized or not), stones, trees other peoples or objects collisions, falling, sliding, injuries provoked by heat/cold, hypothermia, insolation, dehydration, freezing, burning, altitude sickness, stone falling, storms, animals attack, rude meteo conditions, sudden weather change, the race area, the equipment.
Penalties
Object missing from the mandatory equipment=disqualification
Shortage of the track = penalty or disqualification (Marshall choice)
Doping = disqualification
Lack of respect regarding the environmental surrounding = disqualification
Modifying the race number = disqualification
Non-compliance with the race rules= penalty or disqualification (Marshall commission choice)
Non-compliance with the rules of refreshing/assistance areas = penalty or disqualification (Marshall commission choice)
Misbehavior against other participants, officials, public, other persons = disqualification
Wrong way on track = disqualification
Entry fee will not be reimbursed in case of disqualification.
Appeal
Any participant can make an appeal against other participant that did not respect the race rules or against the official decision. The appeal can be done at the Race office, in written, in maximum 15 minutes from the publishing of provisory race ranking. The solving of the appeal will be done in the next 30 minutes.
Modifications
The organizer has the right to modify the rules and the way the completion takes place. These changes will be published on the official internet web page www.zemesxco.ro
